These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CAM Caddie, operated by Cut Action Media ("we," "us," or "our"). By using CAM Caddie you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
CAM Caddie provides golf scoring, GPS yardages, marshall and bar-cart features, leaderboards, sponsor advertising, and related tools for golfers and course operators. Features vary by course and account type.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and activity under your account. Provide accurate information when registering. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate laws or others' rights
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Upload malicious code or scrape the service without permission
- Misrepresent scores, identity, or sponsorship relationships
4. GPS and scoring disclaimers
Yardages, shot map distances, and GPS positions are estimates for convenience. They are not official for tournament play, handicap submission, or rules disputes unless your course explicitly designates them as such. Always follow local course rules and applicable golf regulations.
5. Sponsor portal
Sponsors purchasing advertising agree to provide accurate business information and lawful creative content. Ad flights, pricing, and reporting are described at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; sponsor ads remain pending until payment completes.
6. Intellectual property
CAM Caddie, its branding, software, and content we provide are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you submit (e.g., scores, photos) and grant us a license to operate the service with that content.
7. Third-party services
The service integrates third parties (Supabase, Stripe, maps, email, weather, and others). Their terms and privacy practices apply to those services.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the service. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your state apply.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be posted with an updated date.
