This Privacy Policy describes how Cut Action Media ("CAM Caddie," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the CAM Caddie web application at camcaddie.app and related services.
This policy is designed to meet common U.S. state privacy requirements, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). It is not legal advice.

2. Information we collect
In the past 12 months we may collect the following categories of personal information:

3. How we use information
- Provide scoring, GPS yardages, marshall maps, and bar-cart services
- Sync crew rounds and send scorecard emails you request
- Operate leaderboards, profiles, and social follow features
- Run sponsor advertising and performance reporting
- Process sponsor payments and account management
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve the product
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
- Resend — transactional email (scorecards, invites, password reset, sponsor reports)
- Stripe — payment processing (card data is handled by Stripe, not stored by us)
- Google Maps / Mapbox — map tiles and geospatial display (client-side)
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregated usage and conversion metrics on our marketing site (/home)
- Microsoft Clarity — session replay and heatmaps on our marketing site (/home) to improve page usability
- OpenWeather — course weather (when enabled)
- GPS fleet vendors — cart position data for marshall services (when integrated)
Map and analytics providers may receive device and usage data when you use those features. On the marketing home page, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may collect page interactions and session data. We disclose this as "sharing" under CPRA where applicable. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
5. Sensitive information — location
Precise geolocation is used only to provide features you activate: shot map distances, marshall pace-of-play maps, and bar-cart location for staff. Location is collected when your round is live or you summon the bar cart, subject to your browser or device location permission.
You can limit location collection by denying browser location permission or ending your round. California residents may have the right to limit use of sensitive personal information — contact us at privacy@camcaddie.app.
6. Retention
- Account data: retained while your account is active, then up to 24 months unless you request earlier deletion
- Round and score history: retained until you delete your account or submit a deletion request
- Telemetry and ad analytics: typically up to 12 months
- Guest scorecard emails: email address used only to deliver the scorecard; not stored as a long-term account unless you create one
7. Your choices
- Profile visibility and leaderboard opt-out in Profile → Settings
- Browser location permissions for GPS features
- Sign out or delete your account by contacting us
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To submit a request, email privacy@camcaddie.app or use the privacy request form. We may verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on privileged APIs, database row-level security, and vendor contracts. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Children
CAM Caddie is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe we have collected such information.
11. International users
CAM Caddie is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. where laws may differ from your jurisdiction.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via the app or email where appropriate.
